My wife and I visited this restaurant on a short stopover in Bewdley. They have a special deal on Sundays and Thursdays, and as it was a Thursday we were lucky. For £14.95 we could have poppadom and chutney tray, any starter, any main, rice or naan, tea or coffee. This was a bargain as separately these items would have cost about £10 more. There was a good choice on the menu, and we particularly enjoyed our starters of stuffed pepper and lamb chops. For main course my wife has a biryani, which was huge, probably too much rice for the meat and sauce, but easy to leave some. The food at the restaurant was delicious, but I was disappointed by the lack of mint sauce. I ordered one popadom and a side of mint sauce, but only received two popadoms and a small amount of mint sauce. Despite this, everything else was fantastic. I would consider ordering again, as long as I didn't miss the small appetizer.
The food was stone cold when it arrived and sauces on the main dishes like watery oil. We were so disappointed as ordered at 5:09om and didn’t arrive to 6:45 which would have been ok if food was hot at least. Unfortunately won’t be ordering from here again
Hands down the best Indian food on Canvey Island and I’ve tried all of them. The menu is grouped into curry type so you know the sauce is specific and not generic as it is everywhere else! Well done 5 stars, definitely my new regular takeaway Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
The food is very good and I have 5 star reviewed previously. Tonight I had an item missing which by the time it arrived the food was cold. Please express to your staff how important it is to deliver correctly. I look forward to my next meal
My only complaint would be that the veg curry that came as a side to the byriani was more like a cheap tinned vegetable soup.Everything else was nice and cooked well
