If I could actually judge this place as hell yes instead of stars, I would. I think I just did. I came here with staff for a Lake Ya Later Brunch for my boss. Our waitress was super nice and cool. The food was so good. The parts are monstrous! I didn't expect my plate to look the way it was. I ordered the Notorious BNG (eggs via medium with chicken sausage). I do not remember the exact names of what my employees have ordered, but one ordered a burrito from the breakfast menu, our boss ordered a breakfast sandwich (they could eat only half of it, but we were delighted to see them eat happy as they are in remission of cancer), and my other employee ordered a pancake the size of their plate and...
We LOVED it here!!! The waffles were amazing!!! I didn?t like the snickers coffee too much but that?s just personal coffee preference. If you get the chance, GO!! It?s seriously the neatest place!! They have markers you can use or bring some with you to write on the walls, ceilings, wherever!! Prob the neatest breakfast/brunch place I?ve ever been too!! They close at 2pm but as long as you order before then, they usually will still sit you by 1:40ish.
Best breakfast place in Saint Louis. There is no thing on the menu that I had, that is not fantastic, had almost everything until now. If you have not been, it is worth waiting when you come during the busy hours. The church times are the best on Sunday. Note: Your BYOO menu has listed the pig belly and meat like that for $1.99, but if you get the check, it will be $2.99. Only an FYI
We were there with four children. The food was great, the atmosphere was so funny, the service was fantastic. Bre J. took care of us and the management even stopped to check how it went. The next time, I will definitely eat at The Shack!
