Waited over minutes to get server to even notice we were there. Had to walk up to bar to order our first drink. Another husband just left. After my wife finished playing hockey, waited again for server to take food order. She immediately came...back stating they would not honour their Sunday Special of Pint and Pound. The manager came over and was very rude stating we ordered the wrong beer The menu does not state what type of beer you had to drink to receive the wings. We have ordered the same thing since the beginning of September with no issues. When we received our bill, server had overcharged us an extra beer and food that was not ours. She became very defensive in her conversation stat...
This restaurant is in the Campus Ice Arena and therefor has a captured clientele and shows it.Limited menu done poorly at outrageous prices!Slow service that is there to serve beer.Frozen "Supermarket" Chicken Fingers with fries 11.95, 4oz Frozen Burger with fries and processed cheese 12.95 and Kids meals 6.99!They have a captured market and don't really care. There is not much in the way of restaurants around them and they will always have University students come and pay their ridiculous prices to drink high price beer and party.We are there once or twice a week for Hockey and they certainly won't see us again!
I can’t believe how incredible the food has gotten! Since coming under new ownership, every dish I have tried at Simcoe House has been an absolute hit. Great portion sizes, packed with flavour. The white wine and garlic cream mussels are a must-try (and on Mondays and the butter chicken is heavenly. And don’t even get me started on the fish tacos! Service is slow, but the food is worth the wait!
Horrific. Waited min for drinks, in that min staff forgot ½ of what we ordered. Then waited a total of over minutes for our food, last of which came minutes after the other dishes and was a simple (and bland) quesadilla,...so not rocket science for the kitchen. Went with friends. Server SO slow we almost left. Only other tables occupied, but server focused on the table with a group of young men exclusively. Do NOT reccomend.
Waited for min on a Sunday night and still no server to ask if they could get us anything. We were there to watch hockey and wanted some drinks and some food.
Heard they had good wings, their site said open till 2 AM so we get there at 730 PM and it was closed, no sign, no hours listed.
