The service at this restaurant was terrible and I would not return. When we arrived, they did not have our reservation and could not seat us together. The waiter was rude when taking our drinks order, responding sarcastically when asked about the types of gin available. We waited a long time for our food order, which was incorrect when it arrived. The food was served on the wrong plate and with the wrong sauce. The quality of the food was poor. The restaurant itself was in need of a makeover as it looked old and dirty. The wine selection was lacking, or the waiter was unhelpful in explaining it to us.
The staff at this restaurant are very strict and do not smile. The waiters are unfriendly and give off a harsh demeanor. There were mix-ups with takeout orders and missing meals in the restaurant, even during the early part of the evening. Two of the dishes were barely warm, as if they had been sitting out for a long time, and the garlic naan didn't arrive until two of us had already finished our meals. It took a long time to receive the bill, which was messy and not properly totaled. Overall, it was a disappointing dining experience tonight.
The restaurant offers great, fresh food served in a timely manner without making you feel rushed. The atmosphere is relaxing and the service is excellent. There are special offers throughout the week and on Sundays, so be sure to check them out. The menu has a good selection of popular dishes at reasonable prices, without overwhelming you with too many choices. The specials menu is delicious, and I have my favorite dish - you will have yours too! The portion sizes are just right. Bravo Shahbaaz, you are a great local find.
We had a family takeaway from here recently and it was top notch Chicken Balti, chicken tikka biryani , chicken tikka massalla , mushroom rice , garlic naan and chips All of these were lovely and hot and large portions of which we couldn’t finish it It was still hot when we got it home The only thing we weren’t happy with was we ordered 4 poppadoms with a chutney tray , and all we got were the poppadoms and one tiny onions and one tiny mango chutney ?? very poor visit, starters only ok, main course very poor, cold, although one was a 'sizzler '!!! we complained, the owner? manager came and took food away, returned, but no different, still cold, think the dishes had been left on the side, and forgotten about. We complained again, the manage came along, gathered all the dishes, everything, included the wine we were drinking, he told us to get out now and don 't come back!!!
Lovely food tonight but felt really cheated that some people were given a Wednesday night specials menu and some were not, including ourselves. A bit sneaky to be honest. If you have an offer on every Wednesday it should be offered to ALL paying guests. Won't be returning due to this.
Highly recommended and food is first class. The presentation of the food is excellent. Portion size large. Prices are very competitive and my family have used this restaurant for over 20 years. We travel some distance to pick our take away up.

Well it seems like they read my previous review. Went back several times now and the food is great. The staff are very friendly. Can’t fault.
