I rated this restaurant 4 stars mainly because I didn’t get the chance to try a shake, but I have a feeling that my review will eventually go up to 5 stars. Now, about what I did try: I had the Double Smoke Shack burger with all the fixings, and it was perfectly sized—not too small and not too big, just right for satisfying my hunger. The patties were thick and juicy, not flattened at all, which made every bite enjoyable. I also ordered the cheese fries; they were a bit salty, but fresh and crispy, with hot, gooey cheese that I really liked. To drink, I had the mango passionade lemonade, which was pleasantly sweet without any bitterness. I can’t wait to go back and finally try some shakes!
There was absolutely no interaction with the staff. You walk in and order using a tablet. The employees just watch you, which feels really awkward. To top it off, they have the nerve to ask for a minimum 15% tip as if it were a regular sit-down restaurant. When the food is ready, they simply call your name, drop the tray on the counter, and walk away. I thanked them, but they didn’t acknowledge me at all. The food was good; the chicken was a bit dry, but overall, it was decent.
Once again, this location has let me down. The chicken bites were completely unappetizing. They only refunded the cost of the chicken bites, which was disappointing. This place stands out negatively, as every other shack I've visited has consistently provided great food. Unfortunately, this one has consistently served poorly prepared meals on multiple occasions.
This used to be a great spot for quality food, but my visit yesterday was disappointing. The fries had a slight fishy taste, and the spicy bacon burger wasn’t prepared well—the spicy sauce was unevenly applied, mostly just on the edges. Maybe they were rushed as closing time approached. On a positive note, the manager was very friendly!

This place was neat! Super clean walking in. We came in pretty late about 9pm and it was still quite busy. Food came out in a reasonable amount of time. The 50/50 drink was perfect for me as I don?t like my drinks very sweet. Crinkle fries were great forthe kids. Burgers and chicken bits were delish.
The burgers were excellent! I traveled all the way from Joliet to try them. The restrooms were clean, and the service was good and relatively quick. The staff appeared friendly. We will definitely be returning. Thank you!
The burgers were fantastic! We loved that we could have our dog with us on the patio, and the staff went above and beyond by bringing our dog a cup of water. Huge props for that! Food: 5/5
Incredible burgers! I tried their veggie shack, which offers a fantastic option for vegetarians. Their regular burgers are the best in town, and the kids love them too. Food: 5/5.

Great, high-quality meat. The burgers are perfect. I would prefer the meat with a bit more spice and salt.
Burgers were fresh! Pumpkin spice shake was delicious!! I would recommend you try a burger at least once!
