Shakers is truly a hidden treasure! Regulars have been coming here for years, and the staff always welcomes everyone like family. The zucchini bread lives up to its great reputation! Trying to eat healthier, I ordered the Napa Salad and swapped the chicken for salmon—it was absolutely fantastic. I also sampled the protein vegetarian omelette from the farmer’s menu and replaced the hash browns with fresh fruit, which was just as wonderful. We love coming back every few weeks. I hadn’t been to Shakers in a while, though it used to be one of my favorite coffee shop restaurants. Unfortunately, the food quality had declined over the years. Since the pandemic, however, Shakers has refreshed their menu with some delightful additions like the amazing Aloli turkey sandwich and sliders topped with caramelized onions. Prices have gone up, as they have everywhere. I tried the pot roast melt and was happy to find the beef cooked perfectly with excellent flavor. The caramelized onions really stood out, too. I also enjoyed a flavorful evening salad.
This was my first time at Shakers and it was a great experience. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The food was delicious; you can yell they use quality ingredients. I had the chili cheese with eggs. You can get your eggs cooked how you like and they lay them on a large pile of delicious, hearty chili with beans and a side of hash browns. I also had a fee bites of my friend's dish; she ordered the country fried steak and eggs. Their gravy is outstanding. A definite recommendation.
Nice unpretentious diner with lots of choices on the menu. We ordered a chicken salad- portion was huge! A burger and fries- my son cleaned the plate and said the burger was good and juicy. I had a Ruben with a cup of the most delicious beef veggie soup. Service was fast, efficient and our server was super friendly. Just in town for the Rose Bowl and parade but would recommend and return if we were local.

Wonderful.customer service. We ate outdoors, first time returning since Omicron took off. The food was good. It may not be excellent, but it is very homey and suits the soul. Our server brought fresh creamer for my coffee, came to check on us multiple times. He was very attentive and courteous.
My new favorite. Can't believe it took so long to find it. The service is great and the food is good. The other day I went to do some work (had to get out of the house) and I had the tuna salad salad. It was great! Also, great for breakfast and they have a large parking lot.

We had a wonderful experience at Shakers with tasty food and outstanding service. We visited on a Saturday evening, and my family remarked on the freshness of every dish. We'll definitely be coming back!

Love our Shakers, but noticed some difference in the soups, not quite up to past standards. We come couple times a week, so notice the difference. Also, love our Vanessa. She is the best.
