Furthermore, the brand can influence prices, as some items, whether vegan or not, can be more costly than others. Personally, I just wanted something vegan without any fuss. It was quite loud inside, making it difficult to hear, and I found the atmosphere overwhelming. The place could definitely use some cleanliness as well. Ultimately, I don't think I'll return. If you go online, you’ll find various options for affordable vegan shopping, proving that vegan food can fit any budget. By the way, I also prefer to pay in cash; I have my reasons for that. We order from this restaurant regularly—perhaps a bit too often—and it’s always fantastic. It’s now run by three sisters, one of whom is vegan. They offer a full vegan menu with plenty of options. My personal favorites are the fish and the "ruined" sausage. All vegan dishes are prepared in a separate freezer. If you prefer your chips crispy, just let them know, and they’ll cook them a bit longer for you. Be sure to order their chips, as the portions are generous, and don’t forget to try their secret recipe shakey shakey salt.
I had tofish n chips with mushy peas and vegan tartare sauce. The chips were some of the best I've had in years proper hand cut, chunky, crispy chips. The portion was enormous I only managed to eat half of it and I have a good appetite! Apparently you can order a child's portion even if you aren't a child I'll do that next time so I leave room for the pineapple fritters There are two tables if you want to eat in. The dish I've missed the most is fish and chips, and oh my goodness, it was an incredible meal. The staff is so friendly and lovely, and the food is just fantastic. The homemade sauces are delicious and appealing to both vegans and non-vegans alike (my carnivorous father-in-law can't stop raving about the tartar sauce)! Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Detoured here whilst visiting Margate and really recommend. Nice to have a proper ‘fish’ and chip shop lunch with excellent vegan options. They also have a little vegan ‘shop’ with a good range of vegan grocery items.
Great variety of vegan options, I had the battered sausage and chips. As a treat had the battered Oreos and pineapple fritters! Will defo be visiting again!
