I visited a restaurant yesterday with my mother and her friend for a day out. My mother usually enjoys her meals when we eat out, and this time was no exception—she absolutely loved it! She didn't stop raving about how much she enjoyed the food and was the first to finish her meal. The restaurant is a bit further into the city compared to most places, but it's definitely worth the trip. They offer gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan options. The owners were incredibly kind and welcoming. I highly recommend this place!
Shakey Shakey lives up to its name with a special spicy sauce that adds an extra kick to all its dishes. The large fish is very fresh, perfectly cooked, and crisp without being greasy. They also offer a fantastic salad, and the family-run atmosphere is welcoming and friendly. The tables are beautifully decorated, and the service is excellent. Additionally, they offer a vegan menu as well. This is definitely my favorite fish and chip restaurant in Britain!
This is truly the best fish and chips I've ever had, and it's clear that they genuinely care about the food they serve. We dined in, and the unexpected extras like the delicious salad and homemade tartar sauce were a pleasant surprise that we really enjoyed. The gluten and dairy-free fish and chips meant that my husband and sons could finally indulge too, and they loved it! I can't praise the staff highly enough for their service.
Great gluten free options, I've had both the battered cod and fish cakes and they were amazing. Large portions, reasonable prices and friendly service. Order ahead if possible as they Cook to order. After a really bad day finally made it to Shakey Shakey to be greeted by lovely people, wonderful vegan food and amazing generosity. A fantastic find and best food whether you are vegan or not. The secret shakey shakey you sprinkle on everything is yummy. Can't love this place more! Just go, you will love it.
really nice staff and eating is absolutely amazing, the seasoning seasoning seasoning is also delicious. highly recommended, they will not be disappointed! can not wait to return, I am still dreaming of the fish!
I cannot rate this place highly enough. It would get 10� from me. The staff were so friendly! Lovely people. The tofish was amazing and my 1 year old loved it. Thank you to the lovely staff!

The tofish is soooo good, as were the vegan nuggets. The seasoning is out of this world too and the staff so lovely!! Can't recommend enough.
