What an interesting concept! The build your own boiled seafood plate is a big plastic bag filled with the seafood of your choice plus potato, broccoli, and corn in the sauce of your choice at your desired heat level. So the food is actually steamed by the sauce, and it 's delicious! Choose from shrimp, crab, mussels, clams, crayfish etc, all charged by weight. My wife 's pound of green mussels and my pound of shrimp were more than enough for lunch. The seafood was very good and the sauce (medium hot cajun for both of us) was really great. The corn was absolutely fantastic perfectly cooked, and very sweet to balance the sauce. You get a bib, a pair of disposable plastic gloves that are tough...
Looking for a place to eat on Christmas night, we 'Googled ' restaurants. ShaKing on South 10th did not disappoint! That seafood was soooo well-seasoned, delish and ample portioned! I will def go again. It was open on Christmas!
This restaurant did not disappoint this was my first time ordering from here and I got a Combo A platter and I will say it is definitely more than enough for one person. Definitely worth it 10/10
I took my team here for a holiday dinner. The food was amazing. The service could have been better but we were having a great time with each other so it wasn’t a deal breaker. Would go back again.

Food wasnt good. Everything except the mussels seem to be over cooked, and if you prefer seasoning (not meaning salty, just a little flavor) then this isnt the place for you.
This restaurant was fantastic in every way, from the delicious food to the attentive service to the reasonable prices. I highly recommend checking it out sometime!
