I stopped by Shameless Ground for a quick and delicious lunch before heading to the Anheuser-Busch Brewery Tours. The food was outstanding, and the location, along with the parking options, were very convenient. The staff provided excellent and prompt service, clearly showing that they care about customer satisfaction. The restaurant was impressively clean, including the bathroom. While waiting for my order, I noticed that it serves as a welcoming space for sex-positive individuals, featuring a large selection of books available for borrowing, such as "More Than Two: Polyamory Resources and Guidelines." If I ever leave St. Louis, Shameless Grounds will undoubtedly be one of the places I’ll really miss. Not only do they serve fantastic food (the pulled pork nachos are the absolute best!) and excellent drinks (they even accommodate me with an extra-large glass for my mix of red wine and Coke), but they also create a space for connection and education, fostering a sense of community and inclusivity. It’s a venue for artists to showcase their work in various mediums, a hub for gamers, and home to an extensive collection of books and DVDs, along with a variety of condoms, lube, and all sorts of information on many topics. This is truly one of those places that feels welcoming and comfortable.
I visited this new coffee shop to experience its unique atmosphere. I ordered an iced caramel latte and a gooey butter cake, and I must say, the interior was incredibly cozy and inviting. I can definitely see myself coming back to relax with my laptop. The staff were extremely friendly, and my order was ready in just a few minutes! This coffee shop has a fantastic, sex-positive vibe! The food is delicious and generously portioned. The patio is beautiful, offering plenty of shade to relax in. The brownies are some of the best I've ever tasted—so rich in chocolate! They also have a great selection of food and drinks, including some excellent local beers.
I LOVE Shameless Grounds. The queer-friendly and sex-positive atmosphere makes for a refreshing escape from the standard heteronormative cafe environment. The food is absolutely delicious, I particularly recommend the brownie for chocolate lovers, but their breakfast bowls are my favorite.
