The chicken had decent flavor, but it was a bit too wet and covered in a thin, watery sauce. The ribs were better, with good flavor, but they were a little too fatty and didn’t have much BBQ sauce on them. The drink options included fountain drinks and various types of tea. I also noticed some interesting condiment packets, ranging from fancy brown mustard to relish. However, I couldn't understand why there was no BBQ sauce available at a restaurant specializing in BBQ. To top it off, there was an employee who loudly stacked used metal trays near the trash, which was quite distracting. I ended up at Shane's because the place I wanted to go started closing at 4 during the week. Big mistake. Ordered 2 All Americans, a Cowboy burger and 2 sides of fries. Got the order home, about a mile away, and discovered the fries were cold. Not lukewarm after trip type cold but cold. No warmth. Opened up the burgers and low and behold, no Cowboy Burger. I really don't feel like driving back and complaining so I'm doing it here. I included a pic of the fries that I won't be eating.

My husband and I were in town for work, and we asked a local for a good restaurant recommendation. We decided to try the three-meat plate, which included barbecue, ribs, and chicken. The ribs were so tender that the meat practically fell off the bone. The barbecue was my favorite, and the potato salad was among the best I've ever had. I would definitely recommend this place! Had the half rack platter and it was good. The hush puppies are delicious and I was pleased with the meal. The Texas toast was just buttered bread though, very disappointed with that. It wasn 't at all toasted. The pork was tender and the bones came out clean. The BBQ sauce was more vinegary than I like, I tend to like sweeter BBQ sauce, but I would order from here again.
I've been coming here for around 10 years, and it's a comfortable spot for working on campus. I usually order the BBQ Nachos, which I enjoy a lot. Unfortunately, this time they forgot the jalapeños. I also really wanted to buy a T-shirt from the advertisement at the entrance, but I found out they were no longer selling them. What a disappointment!
very pricey, but I knew that going in. very disappointed. asked for sauce on the side , but that was ignored the ribs were loaded with barbecue sauce . pork was dry. potato salad tasted store-bought. wasnt about to pay $6 for a brownie or $3 for a cookie. will not be going back and will not recommend. still trying to find good barbecue

I ordered online, and my order was processed quickly and accurately. I had the chicken salad, which was fantastic—there were generous pieces of chicken, and you could tell it was freshly made on-site rather than pre-packaged. The staff was friendly, and the restaurant was clean.
