I generally love this place, however…the last two experiences have been bad: 1-Sent back wings that were bland and very tough and fries that were cold. They put the fries back in the fryer. 2-Ordered buffalo chicken sandwich (which is usually very good). I waited in line for 15 minutes just to order, they let my food cool rather than tell me it was ready, and the chicken came coated with honey mustard rather than bleu cheese. I’m seeing new counter people and cooks. I will give it one more try and hope this is just a blip on the radar.
I enjoyed the spinach salad with grilled chicken, diced cucumbers, hard-boiled eggs, feta cheese, and mustard vinaigrette. My husband had a grilled bratwurst with sauerkraut. The food was outstanding. You can grab a quick sandwich in the deli, enjoy a cozy meal in the restaurant section, or sit at the bar to watch a game or play the slots. If none of those options appeal to you, head upstairs to the rooftop seating for a meal with friends. Shannon's offers a little something for everyone, capturing that backyard BBQ vibe.
One of my favorite writing hangouts. It 's really two places in one; a classic deli and a bar. Plus, their rooftop is a great place to enjoy food and a drink. They have good wifi inside and plenty of power outlets, but the wifi reception does not reach the rooftop, nor are there outlets up there. They have good sandwiches and daily specials. For folks looking for Keto options, I like the Big Ragu and Black Blue salads. For those not concerned about carb intake, they have huge deserts at reasonable prices.
I've had Shannon's food on several occasions, and it's always impressive! Their sandwiches are fantastic, especially the chicken salad and corned beef. The potato salad is incredibly tasty as well. Every soup I've sampled has become my favorite for the day. And the key lime pie strikes the perfect balance between tart and sweet. I plan to keep dining here whenever I'm nearby. Best little deli. Don't often get deli meat sandwiches, but I'm sure there great. Po boy on Friday is the best around. Probably should keep that a secret. Son loves the grilled cheese and it's just a nice little downtown spot. Home vibes. Makesyou proud of being from Lombard.
A good place to grab a quick bite. It won’t blow you out of the water but it’s affordable and you get a lot for your buck. The day I went in, I believe the staff was training a new employee so it was a bit hectic but they tried their best to accommodate every customer.
The food was excellent and the service was quick. The Italian sub was the best I've had in ages and surely the finest in Dupage County. The bar is also fantastic, and the staff are really friendly.
I don't come here often. Stopped on my way home for a sandwich. $14.25 for a pastrami sandwich with no side. Absurd. Hungry, so I paid it. But never again. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
