The atmosphere was wonderful, with fun decor and a friendly staff. We visited the day before St. Patrick's Day, so it was quite busy, but we only had to wait about 15 minutes for a table. There was one hiccup with our appetizer; we waited patiently for it, but it never arrived. When we inquired about our food, they checked and brought out the appetizer, but we declined it since we had already received our meals. The appetizer didn't look very fresh, as it seemed a bit overcooked and had likely been sitting for a while. The green and golden facade of Shawn O'Donnell's warmly welcomes you as you approach. Upon entering, you're enveloped in a delightful atmosphere filled with the enticing aromas of delicious food and drinks. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, enhancing the experience from the very start. With each sip and bite, you can tell you're in for a treat. The food—especially the carved beef and Guinness stew—is outstanding. You can't go wrong with a visit to Shawn O'Donnell's!
The service was great. Fast, efficient and friendly. The Celtics green salad was so good. Gorganzola sharp and the apples were a perfect pair. The cod fish and chips were flaky and full of flavor. Moist and the I side and crispy outside. The Monte Cristo was very filling and the raspberry jam sets it off perfectly. The bread pudding was rich, creamy and the perfect end to a wonderful meal!!
eat many times here. Enjoy eating every time, never had anything bad here. they know their strength and lean well into them. her cried bark is so good that they literally have it ordered as a side. try the brotpudding, it is to die. Great food. Great music. Great atmosphere. A new family fav. We've throughly enjoyed so far, the London broil, the shepherd's pie, the monte cristo, the kids grilled cheese, the bread pudding, and the hungry man breakfast (pictured below). We will be back to try more for sure.
An incredible Irish pub from amazing Guinness with fun designs to a magical Ruben and Mac and Cheese to die for! This pub is a must go. My 10 year old got the meatloaf and also loved it, they say kid friendly and fulfilled on that promise.
