I went to sheelen’s crossing since I moved into the opposite in 2019. I came mainly for dinner and drinks and both her beer selection and dinner menu is top notch. but there is a meal that I especially long at sheelen’s crossing and that is brunch. it is only on Sunday, but it is one of the hidden treasures of our community. I always look at the menu and think everything sounds so great. but then I will always get my favorite who is the croque madame. if they aren't familiar with this sandwich, it's in the ground a grilled ham and cheese sandwich with more cheese and bechamel sauce and then finally with a runny-fried egg. it's a brunch fan for me where I go. I had many of them. so I can tell...
Really not very good at all. Perhaps we ordered wrong and should have stuck to deep fried bar food. The kettle chips were pretty good. Everything else, not so much. The service was hilariously bad. Our waitress would disappear for long stretch’s of time and other employees would say they couldn’t find her. She didn’t bring a drink order for quite some time. She brought it out with the order for the table next to us and said “sorry for the wait, I wanted to bring all the drinks at once”.
Ordered 2 different flavor of wings and put them in the same tin with oily sauces that's tasted terrible. We got an order of fries that they cooked twice and there was hardly any in there. The 4 cheese Mac tasted like bland noodles. Thought this was going to be a hit.. it was a big miss.
Haven't been here in forever. Went on a last minute dinner out. Outdoor tent area is well set up. Our server Kelly was sweet and attentive as was the rest of the staff who checked on us. I was disappointed with the grilled cheese as there was hardly any cheese and it lacked flavor. I received regular fries instead of sweet potato fries. The pierogi were decent. However, the standout dish was the tomato soup - it was incredibly delicious.
always the best time at sheelens crossing! had only one amazing burger. always the best eating their dinners are fantastic! our favorite place!
Excellent food, good service, solid beer and wine selection. We'll be back. Enjoyed the walk over to Rockos after a meal at Sheelen's
