We were on a break in London and needed a place to feed. Came across Sheilas café on a walk so popped in for a breakfast. The place is small but do take outs. Sat down and was very hungry and on hols so thought...Id have the breakfast. And what a breakfast! It was the best I've had and i have had a few. It was whipped up in a few minutes and was very very tasty. But beware. They don't skimp on portions. Big but so tasty after a night out. Coffee was I was so full I needed a sit down in Hyde Park mins down the road. Then a few days later returned for the same. Bought some of the sandwiches with a wide range of breads and fillings. Food was cross contaminated, not suitable for vegans or people with allergies at all My “vegan” breakfast came with bits of egg on top. When I put the food that was cross contaminated to the side, I was told that it was “fine to...eat”. I was offered new food but the kitchen is clearly not equipped to be sanitary enough to cater for people with allergies; even though they said they could when I specifically asked this. The things that I did eat were lacking in flavour and the coffee was acidic and downright terrible. My husband, daughter, niece and I were in London for days. We went to Sheila's for breakfast many of those days. We were greeted by the owner with welcome home when we walked in and it really began to feel like home. The food...was always excellent and served quickly. All of the staff were friendly and efficient. Although the dining area is small, we were always able to be seated. We are eager to go back to London and visit Sheila's.
The staff at Sheila’s cafe welcome you into the cafe like an Irish family bringing you into their home. They make sure you’re fed, watered and well taken care of which, if you’re from an Irish family, feels and sounds familiar. This is a great spot for breakfast. We popped in while staying in hotel close by. It is definitely worth a visit. It has a few tables inside at which to eat. The staff were super friendly and efficiently served us a tasty breakfast which...set us up for the day. I would definitely recommend and would return if I was in the area.
What a lovely ladies ! From the moment you walk in they will make you feel welcomed. Place is small but very cozy. We had delicious breakfast full English breakfast and one vegetarian English breakfast. Recommend this place from the bottom of my heart... Don’t forget to try smoothie ! It’s awesome

We were staying in High Street Ken and looked up best breakfasts near me and Sheila’s came up. We took a walk through Hyde Park just to visit this cafe and we loved it.
