First I came on Saturday around 4:30 pm place closes at 7 on Saturdays) first shock: menu is reduced to wings, sandwiches or burgers. Ok let's have a burger! Not good at all, tasteless compared with the burgers I have tried before at this place. On top of that I felt all the time the rush of the staff to have guests out as quick as possible so they were ready to close. This restaurant is a great choice for lunch with excellent service and a nice atmosphere. The music selection is good even during slower times. The food is decent, with the burgers being better than fast food options and worth the price. It's a good place to come for a beer and burger, but don't expect anything extraordinary. Overall, it's a good fit for the target demographic.
The food is decent and they offer unique twists on dishes, typical of many small restaurants in Chicago. The restaurant has a sports bar atmosphere and the staff is friendly, although our waitress was difficult to understand due to her Russian or Ukrainian accent.
Delayed Cancel Flight home, Hotel Stay for the night and the Staff at Shelby Campbells Tavern single-handedly turned a ruff day around. Can’t recommend this place enough. Would like to visit this location when back in town on better circumstances.

Sandwiches were great but they gave all three of our meals fries that you could tell had been sitting a while. We had been traveling all day and were too hungry to argue. Very dark restaurant. Waitress was great.
