This is not our first time at Shenandoah but the second time I've been VERY disappointed. The service was not good. And waitress was slow and inattentive. Did not offer to refill drinks. When I pointed out that my chicken, which is actually usually cooked very nicely, was overcooked and dry, she didn't offer to take it back and have the chef redo it. I find that unacceptable. Also we were here for a birthday. It's a little chintzy not offer one free dessert and just give a little dish of ice cream with a candle. And they don't even sing Happy Birthday. I've been visiting Shenandoah for over 10 years with smaller gatherings and have always left satisfied, but last night was exceptional—it was the best restaurant experience I've ever had, largely thanks to Briana, Malia, Gustavo, and Ruben, who are invaluable assets to the restaurant. They deserve a raise or some sort of recognition for their outstanding service!
Shenandoah is my favorite restaurant! Everything from the staff to the food and the patio is fantastic. For our main course, we both chose the Tomatillo Chicken Soup, which could easily be a meal on its own. It was incredibly tasty! I opted for a half portion of the country fried steak, which was more than sufficient for me. There are various ways to prepare this dish, and while it leaned more toward the Texas style than the Georgia version I grew up with, it was amazing. The mashed potatoes that came with it were equally delightful.

Decent portions, especially for the nice ambiance. The mini fritters at the beginning were the best part of the meal. Not many gluten-free options (and do proactively confirm everything with the waiter), but a few exist. Small wait on weekends at peak hours if you want outside dining (recommended); no wait for indoor dining. If the small parking lot is full, there's parking in nearby residential areas within walking distance. Meal type: Dinner

This place is amazing! The ambiance is super romantic and personal. The staff is very attentive and work as a team to make your experience flawless. Make sure to call ahead for dinner and ask to be seated outside. The heaters they have will keep you warm. If you get there a little early, you can spend some time spotting the koi in their pond. Super cute! We will be returning soon.
I really enjoyed this restaurant. The food was amazing! I had the fried tomatoes and the Chili Verde soup, both of which were delicious. The outdoor seating area was great, and the service was outstanding. The seating was well spaced, making it comfortable. Plus, the coffee was really good too.
The outdoor dining area is lovely. The food was amazing; we tried the prime rib and the pistachio-crusted sea bass, both of which were delightful. The fried green tomatoes were also excellent. The service was quick and efficient. Definitely a solid 5 stars!
Parking: There is a small lot behind the restaurant, but on that busy Sunday, most of our group had a hard time finding a spot. Only one of us was able to park in the lot, while the rest had to show off our parallel parking skills out front.

The Fried Green Tomatoes were absolutely delightful! The crab cakes were excellent as well, with the perfect amount of filler. The service was top-notch, and the atmosphere was wonderful. The koi pond added a delightful charm!
