The listing calls this place an Irish pub, but that's a bit of a misnomer. I didn't detect much of anything Irish, although some of the menu items are what you'd expect of pub grub. On it's website, the restaurant is not referred to as...being Irish. It's a large space with a nice view of Conception Bay. They have a full bar and a menu with a decent selection of foods like salads, sandwiches, burgers and some seafood. The meals we had were okay but nothing special. The service we had for our visit was quite poor at the beginning. The person who was serving us was forgetful and didn't seem totally familiar with the menu or the beverage selection. This was my first visit and I was not disappointed. It was a fairly busy night and we were a little slow getting served but that's understandable. Our server was very friendly and was very deserving of a big tip. The food was fantastic. My girlfriend and I were in the mood for pub grub and the portions were huge. The French onion soup we ordered first was fantastic. I highly recommend it. I recommend coming here over Jungle Jim's any day of the week. Our last few experiences at Jungle Jim's were very disappointing so I won't be eating there anymore. I will be going to Shenanigan's instead.
Saw the billboard while driving to CBS on Peacekeepers Way. I had never been, and lunchtime had passed already. What the heck, I gotta eat. Because it was after 2 pm there was very few people there. Our waitress said we had our choice of where to sit, inside, outside on the deck, in the shade or sun... our choice. Chose the deck, in the sun, looking out over Conception Bay. Had a clubhouse sandwich with homemade fries. It was excellent. Good food, good service... You should go there!
The French Onion soup was great albeit a little spicy. Don’t order grilled chicken breast burger. I received a deep fried chicken patty and had to return it. The waitress was great and removed this from my bill. The hot turkey sandwich was okay. It...only came French fries and no vegetables. We will not be returning here again....very disappointed as it was my husbands birthday and we out for a treat.

Wife and I have been going to Shenanigans the last few years. Sometimes with friends and sometimes just us. Food has been great, service has been excellent and entertainment...well that's always just right. Glad it is local, no need to venture any further to have a few Shenanigans. The upgrades in venue and menu are fantastic. Definitely worth the trip to CBS if not from the area
This place is probably one of the best restaurants in the NE Avalon. Prices are generally along the lines of Jungle Jim's but it seems a little lower and portions are great. With the renovations there is lots of room and a private sound proof rooms for parties. In the summer that deck is fantastic and the view of the bay is beautiful. Great spot for a date for sure.
Never been here before, but will definitely return!! Fabulous service, great food recommendations, food arrived quickly, and it was delicious. Best onion rings I have tasted so far, the spinach and artichoke dip is devine and the calamari is perfectly seasoned. They have radler on tap, attentive service and a lovely atmosphere to catch up with friends.
The pub is not much of an Irish venue, but it is very clean and spacious. We happened to show up on a night with many food and drink specials, which was a big plus. I ordered the wings and onions rings, which were very...tasty and large portions. Our service was very accommodating. Nice pub atmosphere!

A lovely restaurant with a view of Bell Is’le. Service was great. Fish tacos to die for. Fish and chips were ok. Ask for the chips (not fries) if you like homemade potato chips. They are great!
