Not anyone can manage a restaurant. Shiaadi in Cardedeu is an exemple of this. While the food itself was average if you happen to like tasteless pieces of raw fish with boiled rice, the service was appalling. As a waiter we had a rude and arrogant piece of work that tried to make us feel like cattle by his ill manners and supposedly witty silly remarks. We had to wait more than 30 minutes for the food appearing randomly on our table. My wife had to wait double that time for the same order my daughter had. God knows what happen in the kitchen. We had a variety of japanese starters like gyoza,miso soup, tempura vegetables and 3 different sushis. The dishes came once after the other, which was nice so we had enough time to share each of the dishes. Of course all in all the dinner took some time, but therefore everything was prepared freshly. The quality and taste of each dish was extraordinary. And for that price it was extremely good. I can highly recommend a visit at Shiaadi, if you enjoy high quality Sushi and other japanese food and are willing to bring a little bit of time with you!
It's about time there's an accessible sushi place in this neck of the woods! Really good value for price and the service is excellent. Was a tad disappointed that they didn't have red wine available, but their white and cava selection was alright. Great vibe inside decor suitable for a date or even a family dinner. Will definitely be going back soon!
