I love the food here, and love that there are so many varied vego and vegan options! Another thing that makes this restaurant stand out for me is that the portions are nice and big for a very reasonable price finally a restaurant that doesn't serve ridiculously expensive puny meals! The service is always lovely, warm and prompt. Just a few of many of my faves: the vego sushi roll (so large and delicious), the veg tempura, and the teriyaki tofu. I like that I still have so many other vegan options that I haven't tried at Shimizu (usually there's only one or two vegan options at other restaurants) and I can't wait!
We opted for the Teriyaki Salmon Bento, along with sides of Giant Potato Fry, Croquettes, and a refreshing Tonic Miso soup. When our food arrived, it surpassed our expectations. The sweet potato chips were huge and perfectly coated in a delicious glaze. By the end of the meal, we were already making plans for our next visit.
Despite its unassuming decor, Shimizu offers fantastic dishes that are sure to please. Whether you're craving Japanese cuisine, planning a group dinner, or looking for a casual date spot, this restaurant is the place to be.
Tonight we came in from fremantle for the 3rd time. We enjoy the clean tables. The sweet table service and yummy authentic Japanese cuisine. We will be back!!The first time we came here it was after the boxing day sales and not many shops are open we hesitated due to the fact there were only another type of people in there. Once inside we were greeted with friendly service delicious food and we have since been back twice. I would recommend that pork Katsu sauce it’s the house specialty and very yummy
The naruto ramen is amazing and a perfect size for a meal. The only issue is that the noodles are made with egg, so the 'vegan option ' isn 't actually vegan. The adegashi tofu w/ veggies and rice is also wonderful, and the service is very friendly. Food doesn 't take too long to come out, and the place has a nice feel to it. Very good/10

I placed an order on Ubereats and the food arrived perfectly presented and hot, just like it would be in the restaurant. I tried the Karaage Chicken Donburi, which was extremely tasty and satisfying. The Japanese chocolate cheesecake was incredibly creamy, rich, and delightful. I will definitely be returning to dine in person.
We tried the number 1 roll and it was deliciously crunchy. The 'complete bento' was very filling and satisfying. The Unagi eel was smooth and rich in omega oils. We enjoyed both the food and the friendly service. The wasabi provided a spicy kick to our taste buds. Overall, it was a great dining experience.
I been here many times and really like everything on the menu. When the food was served they looked exactly as in the menu which was amazing. Recently, i have been doing takeaway for a Japanese friend who is not quite mobile and she love the food from this place.
Royal seal of approval. My current favourite Japanese food eatery in Perth. Always looks empty except for the endless stream of Uber Eats drivers. Everything on the menu is worth trying. Value for money.

their ramen is average but OMFG TRY THEIR CHICKEN KATSU highly recommend their donburi is really cheap too its only $12. Portion is kind of small though
