I recently visited this restaurant a few times and I have noticed a decline in the service since my first visit. I have experienced unfriendly staff at the front desk, escorting to tables, and difficulty in finding a server to pay for my meal. During my most recent visit for a pickup order, I was not notified when my takeout was ready and the staff seemed indifferent about it. Additionally, they rushed through the checkout process, leaving me unable to use my rewards. I was also disappointed to learn that certain side dishes were more expensive than others when I was offered alternatives due to the restaurant being out of fries. I have visited this restaurant multiple times and the food has always been excellent, until today. My meal was satisfactory, but unfortunately my wife's chicken fried chicken was mostly burnt, the carrots seemed old, and her mashed potatoes were overly salty. We mentioned this to our waitress, who said she would inform management, but we never heard back and ended up paying full price for a meal that went largely uneaten. It may be a while before we are willing to make the drive to Winfield for subpar food again.
