My spouse and I decided to try out Shine during the week, as it tends to be very busy on weekends (like most brunch spots). We were seated promptly, even though the restaurant quickly filled up. The service was outstanding - our water and coffee were refilled promptly, and the staff checked in on how we were enjoying our meal. While not a fancy establishment, the restaurant was clean and cozy. I ordered the Reuben Benny special, which was incredibly tasty. My wife opted for a breakfast plate, and particularly enjoyed the rosemary-infused potatoes. Overall, I would highly recommend Shine.
I absolutely adore this restaurant. Whenever I'm in Victoria, I always make sure to stop by here. Today, I tried the Southern Belle Benny and although it may look a bit unusual in the picture, I can assure you it is one of the best eggs benedict dishes I have ever tasted. The flavors of all the ingredients combined perfectly and there is a great variety of flavors. The only regret I have is that I ordered the half portion instead of the full one.
Service was great and so was the food! We went for 10:00 and luckily there was no line. Because this place is so popular, sometimes there can be a bit of a wait. My wife got the Nemo Benny with hash browns. Both were tasty. Another friend of ours got the apple cinnamon pancakes, which was perfect was someone with a sweet tooth. I would definitely recommend this place.
We had heard wonderful things about this restaurant. It was my first time visiting, as my husband had last been here 10 years ago. It's a charming breakfast spot with tasty food. Almost everything at this restaurant can be made vegan and the dishes are incredibly delicious! They make great use of Just Egg and know how to cook it perfectly. I highly recommend trying the omelettes. I swapped the cheese for extra avocado and it was fantastic. The grilled tomatoes on the side were also very tasty. Highly recommended!
Definitely recommend checking out for their assortment of eggs benedict. I had the garden city eggs benny and enoyd it a lot! The basil pesto hollandaise sauce was delicious and the eggs were perfectly poached. Staff were friendly and quick taking orders, bring drinks and food.
I decided to try Karin's vegan Brunch, where you can select 4 vegan sides. For an additional $2, you could add the delicious option of vegan scrambled eggs. The food was excellent!

Great eggs benny and vegan options. Short wait but it was worth it. Found this spot thanks to google and it did not disappoint, the Cali Benny was amazing!
