Unfortunately a restaurant that was so good in the past in terms of food and customer service, is now so awful I am struggling to say anything nice. The owner/manager seems to have contempt for his customers. We arrived at around 9pm asking if they were open. We were told they were open, he then proceeded to tell us how horrible his customers were. The food was just terrible. Cheap frozen ring calamari, that must have cost £1 for 40 rings. It could have been onion rings as there was no distinguishable taste and was rock hard. Speaking of rock hard, the falafel was like an ice hockey puck. Dry and tasteless. The meat, was not cooked. First time visiting this lovely restaurant. It's not big nor is the menu huge but it's got the WOW factor for sure. Friendly helpful prompt staff, the chef can be seen clearly preparing food what he prepares is excellent. Complimentary hot delicious bread with humus, cacik, spicy dip etc followed by the most tender lamb an shish kebab we ever tasted. Succulent tender meat with a tasty chargrill flavour. Starters were freshly cooked tasty the prawns tender tasty in a sauce but not smothered the feta bored wad wonderful too with a crispy filo pastry packed with feta. I had visited this restaurant and the service, the food and the attitude had been disgusting. The experience its self will make you regret your visit and travel. In addition, the staff lacked service and how to retract with customers. They had been rude and took around 1 hour to process the food order. This place is a abomination. The food was undercooked, the food was tasteless, the food was revolting. I HAVE NEVER BEEN SO DEVASTATED TO EAT OUT IN A RESTAURANT. NOT GOING HERE AGAIN !!! Went for a meal at the shish Woodford Green On a Saturday in lockdown. The owner Served us and he was very nice and chatty We got free bread and dip free salad I had the lamb shish it was the best I’ve had It was so nice my wife had the chicken and was lovely as well . I didn’t actually eat in but I ordered take away and the food was absolutely amazing. I had some dietary requirements and most places told me they couldn’t help but I rang and the staff were so helpful and cooked my food different to accommodate my needs. Honestly 10/10 for food and service! I will definitely be returning!
We’ve been here for lunch a few times and are never disappointed. The lunch menu is such good value and caters for all tastes. I always go for the lamb Shish. It is so tender and the marinade is delicious. Bread and dips are free when you order a main. Took my mum and dad for the first time and they were very impressed.

Absolutely delicious! The chicken and lamb shawarma were incredibly juicy, with generous portions and accompanied by a nice salad and rice. The quality of the food is fantastic. Lamb Shish is the one to go for or the chops! They also give you free fresh, hot bread and hummus to start, along with other nice dips!
