Food is always delightful. Been here often! Seems however one waitress for three tables full of adults is not enough. Our poor waitress ran around doing her best. But 15 min of waiting with my kids after they have eaten was enough to forgo singing happybirthday and leaving. Perhaps the three warm bodies up front could have helped our waitress instead of proceeding to angrilyspeak in another language after my table voiced their frustration.
My family and I have visited twice now and I feel confident that I can give this place a solid five-star rating. Both times we visited, we sat right away. Server bought our drinks and appetizers super fast. We have a spicy tuna reel to begin, the fat tuna was on the point and she added a little mini tapioca to give it a big crunch. The hibachi cook was so friendly and great with the children. This can be a regular place for us.
The service was excellent; our drinks were promptly refilled, and they kindly allowed us to enter a bit early since we arrived before the official opening time. The hibachi was fantastic, although the salmon lost some of its flavor after I had more than half of it. The chef was friendly and put on a great cooking show for us. I would definitely recommend this place for group lunches or dinners with friends and family.
The flavors were very enjoyable. The karaage was coated in panko instead of the usual breading, which added a nice twist. Some of the sauces were a bit confusing regarding which dish they accompanied, but the grated apple and fruit sauces were fantastic. The food was delicious. The karaage was not covered in the typical Panko breadcrumbs, which was a pleasant surprise. Some of the sauces were a bit tricky to match with specific dishes, but the grated apple and fruit sauce complemented the meal nicely. I also really liked the hamachi kama; it was simply grilled to perfection.
I really love this restaurant, but I think that enjoying a meal there in person is a crucial part of the experience! Most establishments have reopened for indoor dining, with just a handful of exceptions. What are they waiting for? It's time to move beyond excessive caution and embrace this post-COVID world.
I tried the Chirashi (Chef's Choice Platter) at Shogun 3, and it was outstanding. The servings were ample, and the fish tasted fresh and delicious.

Consistently excellent! The filet is perfectly cooked, the rice is exceptional, and the vegetables are fresh. The sushi is truly unbeatable!
