I really appreciate the great prices on sushi here, especially the half-priced offerings that they have quite often. The quality is amazing and the sushi is delicious. I've been to many places, but I can confidently say there’s no better quality for the price. The fish is fresh with nice cuts, not processed salmon at all. Overall, I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere all as 5 out of 5!
I was quite disappointed with the combination hibachi steak and shrimp this time. Instead of the usual portion, I only received five small pieces of steak and four shrimp. I've ordered this dish a few times before, and the portions have been significantly reduced. On a positive note, the hibachi salmon was excellent, and the hibachi New York strip on its own was also very good.
The sushi portions are very small, and the fish tasted old— even the avocado was past its prime. One of the rolls I received was not what I ordered. The fried rice lacked both eggs and vegetables. The only decent items were the white rice and the chicken teriyaki, but even the teriyaki sauce was overly watered down. I won't be returning; it was a complete waste of money.
The food here is absolutely fantastic! It was a quiet Monday, so we had the hibachi grill all to ourselves, but I can only imagine how busy it gets with such great prices and delicious dishes. This was our first visit, and it was fantastic! I had the lobster and my husband enjoyed the sushi. Both were incredibly fresh and delicious! We will definitely be returning!
