Wanting a quick sandwich -- you're right, no cafe worth its salt makes sandwiches anymore -- we tried Short Black Sheep in Queen Vic Street, North Freo. Small cafe with a few tables inside, a few out. As always for me, the 'music' was a little too loud. Otherwise delightful place. Warm and friendly. Good prices. The service was cheerful and spot-on, the out-of-the-cabinet quiche and the Mediterranean couscous dish were both extremely tasty. Dog-friendly outside. Great coffee. What's not to like?
A great little cafe in North Freo. A nice selection of sweet and savoury goods as well as a great small menu to choose from. The coffee is good and staff are young and friendly. Only a small place so can be difficult to get a seat. A few seats outside in the sunshine are a fabulous spot on a sunny day.
I consider myself a coffee connoisseur and I must say, the coffee here today was MARVELLOUS! I was shouted coffee by local landscape designer, Sally Malcom and we both really enjoyed the coffee and the service. Thanks, team!
Bustling hub of relaxed friendly people. Fresh food well portioned. Orange juice an unusual citrus. Coffee in my humble opinion the best for miles around. A definite must..... especially the hash browns. 0

I just love this place - I was treated to a coffee here by this awesome buyer, and the staff are so lovely, the vibe is really hip - I'd make the effort to return, for sure :)
Best coffee and amazing eggs benedict..Huge serving size and really lovely hollandaise sauce. Friendly personal service and nice and intimate size cafe. Highly recommend.
I love to stop here for a coffee and maybe a muffin or sandwich sometimes. The atmosphere is friendly. It's a small place so on winter's day it's nice and cosy.
Continues to produce great coffee and delicious food. I don't even mind a slight wait when they're busy because the service is very friendly. Great cafe.

Best coffee that I've found in Perth. Actually has substance without being burnt. The mushroom supa toast is highly recommended.
