this was my second visit in seven days to this little esserei on ermine road. the staff is always smiling and super friendly and eating really different! my big latte coffee was delicious creamy and smooth, not bitter at all (I asked for the biggest cup they had and they were very obligated! . I had the mais and flower flower fritter, but instead of the Hiumi cheese I could instead trade and have avocado. this dish was very full and the mint yogurt dressing was a beautiful note. I would recommend a visit, they are dog friendly and plan to open the cellar some time in the future for more sitting opportunities! would recommend.
This restaurant is incredibly clean and tidy. The kitchen is visible from the ground floor seating area, making for a pleasant dining experience. I visited on a Monday and although it wasn't very busy, the staff were very efficient and impressive. I enjoyed a delicious iced latte and avocado toast with toasted seeds for a nice nutty crunch. The menu is simple and offers options to customize your meal. The only downsides are the steps to the entrance and restroom, as well as limited space for strollers or mobility aids due to the small size of the restaurant.
The menu at Short Stout is very good. I wanted to try almost everything on it! I shall have to go back! The only thing that I found to be not great about the place was the seating. It’s a very small space, and felt a bit crammed. The food and drinks were fantastic though. I will definitely be back.
second visit in short stout and had a great experience both paintings. the food is delicious, the staff is super friendly and the coffee is in front of place. yet to taste the sweet tasty ones, but they look very delicious. a great place.

I really enjoyed my experience here. The restaurant is small, so the service was a bit slow, but the staff was very friendly. The menu offers a great selection of vegan options. I will definitely be returning in the future.
Mostly veggie, but there are some nice vegan dishes on the menu. As a “brunch café” there’s a lot of emphasis on eggs and cheese in their meals, but they’ll happily take them out or exchange for a vegan alternative.
Great breakfast....perfectly cooked and surprisingly fab beans (that wouldn't normally have for breakfast). Worth a visit
Only had drinks but everyone was impressed with each others drink choices, very tasty, can't wait to try the food too!
