I arrived for dinner at 4:30 PM. The French fries were ice cold, and the rib and chicken dinner was very dry and overcooked. I returned the fries, and they replaced them with hot ones. Overall, the staff seemed to be just hanging around and not very attentive. The cashier was also quite unresponsive. To top it off, there were flies all over the tables. Shorty used to be a wonderful place to eat, but it has really gone downhill.
Have you ever tasted brisket that is thick, juicy, and tender? You certainly won't find it here. The presentation was disappointing, with the meat appearing a dull gray and sliced far too thin. Overall, it was quite underwhelming.
I've eaten at Shorty's many times throughout my life, and it has always been consistently delicious! The corn on the cob is my favorite appetizer. My meal just isn't complete without it...

"Great food and atmosphere. Family friendly. Our waiter, Richard, was very friendly. Our orders came at reasonable time. We had 14 guests dinning at our table. The menu had a good variety for adults and kids. They had skinny french ? fries. Bathroom was clean. Ample parking spaces."
