I visited this restaurant for the first time and initially hesitated due to some negative Yelp reviews that lacked constructive feedback and only offered harsh comments. I'm glad I chose to ignore those reviews. The food was quite good, and the service was pleasant. For dinner, I had a sushi plate featuring salmon, tuna, and yellowtail, along with a roll. The sushi was fresh and flavorful. The tuna was high-quality dark meat, and the roll, which contained eel and avocado, was a bit heavy on the BBQ sauce but surprisingly tasty and of higher quality than I anticipated. I was curious about this place for a while and went with my husband on a Sunday and it was empty so we didn't walk in. We came back a couple of weeks later mid week and it was busier and loved it for a few months but then we went one day for lunch and the sushi chef had a horrible cough which made me feel grossed out about having sushi while he was coughing mid winter in a bad flu outbreak. We didn't go back for a few months than we decided to stop in again and upon walking in to only one table being occupied we were told we couldn't sit in the large comfortable booth but in the tiny booth across from there which seemed ridiculous since the place was basically empty why not let us sit there....
Why do people think this place is authentic???? It is not a Japanese restaurant. Chinese chefs, Chinese waitresses, Chinese music, even the decorations are just Japanese style but written in Chinese. We even had a nice conversation with the waitress in Chinese. But good for them. Go to some rich, white neighborhood, charge 20 bucks for some mixed vegetables with soy sauce, and the Scarsdale soccer moms won 't know the difference. Giving two stars because it tastes okay for what it is, if you are into the whole Bland ambiguous Asian cuisine for Americans who don 't know the difference.
Sushi is fresh, probably a better spot to order and pick up rather than eat in. The booth seating is absurdly uncomfortable and the service is pretty bad. Pros: Food comes out quickly Cons: Service does not check in regularly and don't pay attention at all. They also make it seems like once you get your food they want you to leave. Always trying to take away dishes and bring the check when you haven't requested it. All in all, a decent spot to grab food to go or eat fast.

The sushi here is quite good, and the atmosphere is peaceful. However, my date and I felt rushed to leave before the posted closing time of 9:30 PM on a Friday. Our waitress was particularly pushy, even becoming rude and almost aggressive. She dropped off our check while we were still eating and returned to our table multiple times before I could settle the bill. This kind of treatment resulted in a low tip for her and, honestly, I won't be coming back.
The edamame was perfectly seasoned and had just the right firmness, with a generous portion. The Mountain Roll was fresh, well-presented, and offered a delightful mix of flavors. However, I found the curry chicken to be quite disappointing. It was overly soupy, and the chicken and potatoes were few in number and cut too small. I reluctantly finished my meal, feeling let down as I left the table. Note to self: avoid that dish in the future.
I'm not sure why there are so many negative reviews here. I know it was only my first time, but my experience was fairly good. The yellowtail and salmon tasted good (and looked fresh), and the service was decent. Prices are reasonable, so what is there to complain? And there's plenty of parking in the front...or off to the side.
Their spicy tuna tempura is legendary. Service is great I order take out and dine in frequently. The actual fish sushi is in my opinion nothing spectacular. Another great dish is their vegetable gyoza soup. Still not convinced it is vegetarian but they insist it is.

Man this place rules. Easily the best sushi I've had in Westchester. Fish is outstanding, absolutely perfect in every way. My new go to sushi spot. Five stars.
Delicious sushi! Really appreciate the good service here. Very attentive. Very happy we stopped here on way back to school in CT.
