Confused By Some Of The Negative Reviews. Looking at the dates on most of the negative reviews leads me to conclude that any problems with food or service have been resolved<br/ <br/ I discovered the existence of this place due to their catering a business function I attended the previous night. It's not located on the way to anywhere, but I'm glad I took time to find it. I found both the food and the service to be excellent. Amy, the co-owner, took time to visit our table to assure that we were satisfied with our visit. The seared ahi tuna was excellent as was the seafood bisque. Not bad.  A good meal every time I go, and the service is typically good.  Prices are not bad, and this is one of the nicer places in Wake Forest.  <br/ <br/ My biggest problems are:  Huge crowds on the weekends, and 'call ahead seating ' ... which on multiple occasions did absolutely nothing for me.  This type of place should really accept reservations.<br/ <br/ Overall, a place that I will go on a regular basis.

Good seafood in the middle of NC. A bit out of the way from Raleigh, but worth the drive. the prices were reasonable, got the pecan crusted trout and key lime pie (dessert was exceptional). the atmosphere out on the back patio was nice to with some live music and fans to keep you cool in the summer heat. one major downside was parking was a royal pain.

I love Shucker's! My favorite dish is the grilled salmon with Oscar topping. The food is always amazing though the service can be hit or miss.

I love raw oysters, so their bucket satisfies me every time. Sit at the bar, enjoy drinks, and good company. Always a nice experience.
