Saw it on TA and as it is local we tried it. Difficult to find with no signage visible from the road. It is in a shopfront opposite Chicken Treat. Interesting room. Exposed brick and industrial chic. Very urban Hong Kong. Maybe 50 covers with a central island bar and semi open kitchen. Rough tables but comfortable seats. Two ladies front of house. Friendly and helpful with ordering. Past experiences have been quite good, but this time poor. We had an early booking to be in and out to go to a show. After placing our order, which took over 30 minutes for one order to arrive , the others followed about 10 minutes later. One of the orders was missing a vital ingredient and was sent back. Normally I would expect the meals to arrive about the same time so we can eat as a family. The food can best be described as ordinary.
The restaurant is lovely, open and not cramped. The Staff are attentive and make you feel welcome. There are some really different and delicious dishes on the menu. A good variety of beverages, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic and the choice of teas served in a beautiful glass teapot really take chinese tea to a new level.
Booked a Friday night to celebrate a Birthday with friends. Staff could not have been more helpful, the food was delicious and plenty of it. Thank you for a wonderful night was much appreciated.
