Hubby & I picked this restaurant from the entertainment book on a rare kid free night. Upon arrival we were seated at a table around the side of the veranda on our own. We requested to be moved as the sun was right in our eyes and the waitress advised they had too many bookings to move us (it was practically empty) and the sun should go down in 45 minutes. We ordered the banquet for 2, the soup was nice but the mains were very average, very small bread plate sized servings and hardly any meat in the dishes. Fried icecream was soggy and inedible. I can't believe this place got so many bad reviews!! We had a banquet for 6 and the food was generally very good. The crispy prawns were large, fresh and the portions were generous. The fish fillets on glass noodles was excellent, as were the spicy Szechuan beef. So much to eat! We used our entertainment cards so it helped with the cost of the multi- course meal - soup, sang Choy pow, Peking duck wraps, fish, prawns, veges, fried rice, beef, dessert. There was a nice breeze from the swan river as we sat overlooking the water on the balcony. It was a memorable evening with the whole family. No problems with the staff or service.
Restaurant is old and tired could be a perfect location but these guys have no idea !!!!I booked a balcony seat were seated in the very corner with all the blinds down we asked if they could be rolled up but apparently no !!!Minced beef Soup was sent back as no mince in the soup... came back tasted like soap water.The rest of the food was tasteless we finished our meal the waitress walked past us a few times we even told her we were finished but the plates just sat on the table so we left.Very disappointed will not be returning anytime soon.
I think these guys have moved to Beaufort st Inglewood near Mille cafe, went here for a friends bday and cause it's brand new we thought we'd check the place out. Absolute mistake. Very expensive and the service is awful. Food was Luke warm and the bowl of rice a very small bowl for $3 is an absolute joke!! Fit out and decor is fantastic pity the food and staff weren't the same. Never again

Sunday last week, we visited The Elizabeth Quay and lunch with our friends at Shun Fung On The River. We waited ages for someone come to place our order, the lunch set banquet for 4, all dishes are very average, the outlook over The Swan River was nice but The manager and waitress seemed to have a bit of an attitude problem and really slack service.
Located at barracks square jetty, Perth , it is the most advantageous eating place to look over the swan river, especially when seated on the balcony. Offering authentic Chinese cuisine , specialising in tank lobster and snow crab dishes. Service and prices are reasonable.
The Chinese was absolutely beautiful, so fresh and delicious ! Honey prawns, Chilli Prawns, Duck, lovely green vegetables !! It was a little expensive but certainly worth it. Just a shame the air con wasn't working all that well on a VERY hot night.
Actually ended up here as we were at the Lucky Shag right next door. I was very pleased with the food, as usual extensive chinese menu but certainly above average food.The views are stunning on a nice sunny days.We'll be back another day ...

If you want good Chinese food go to Northbridge. If you want greasy, sub-standard Chinese food at much more expensive prices, but by the river, come here. Its currently surrounded in building works for Elizabeth Quay.
Very expensive salty food that was under-par. A very disappointing place to bring guests to. A beautiful view across the river was the best part of the lunch experience.
