I had heard good things about this restaurant, but when I arrived at 5pm on a Saturday night, we were the only customers. The waitresses seemed disinterested and one of them even shuffled her feet as she walked. We had to repeatedly ask for basic items like a knife, soy sauce, duck sauce, and sugar. The door was left open, allowing flies to bother us throughout our meal. The tea and Egg Drop Soup were lukewarm, the dry noodles were stale, and there was no atmosphere or music playing. I had a fantastic dining experience at this local Asian restaurant! I decided to order takeout and was extremely satisfied with my choices of Sesame Chicken, brown rice, and Beef Chow Fun. The food was delicious, freshly prepared, and served piping hot. The portion sizes were generous, giving me enough leftovers for another meal for two people. This restaurant is a hidden gem conveniently located just around the corner, making it the perfect choice for any occasion, especially on a rainy day. I highly recommend trying it out!
This Chinese food restaurant was delicious! I have tried Chinese food in NYC and Jersey City before, but always found it boring or disgusting. However, this restaurant had amazing flavors in their fish, chicken, shrimp, and pork dishes. I enjoyed all of them, although I wish the dishes were a little spicier in authentic Sichuan style. It seems like they make it milder than the real authentic version. I am not a big fan of spicy food, but if you want your dish to be spicy, make sure to ask them to make it spicier.

Best Chinese food in the area without a doubt. Very authentic with just the right flavor. Wonton soup was very good and the chicken with veggies was on the money. Steamed dumplings spot on. My wife can’t have much sodium and this food was very light. Thanks to the other reviewers who recommended this hole in the wall. I usually go to Cathy’s 22 (45 mins away) because of the authenticity but now I have a great place near by. Thanks for getting the New Year started well.
I have eaten at this restaurant several times and have always had a great meal. However, my most recent visit was not the same. It seems like the ownership may have changed because the atmosphere and taste were different. The Kung Pao chicken I ordered was not cooked well, was fatty, and lacked flavor. I was disappointed with my experience.
