Perfect place for any occasion. Dinner with friends, drinks, Sunday brunch, Sunday arvo drinks. Side Street has it all. A huge fav of mine, even better bc it's local. Love the tapas menu, loads to choose from. I'm a big fan of the antipasto platter the cheese board. Gluten free options available too which is always good, especially for me. The Gluten free bread is sourced from Rustic bakery, also in Mordialloc and the finest quality I've had for a while. I go to Rustic for my own gluten free needs since finding them via Side Street. Staff are well trained and full of character. Cocktails are an absolute must! My fav being the Espresso Martini. Upbeat funky tunes play through the sound system...
We visited on a Saturday night for a quick drink while we were waiting for a table to become available at the excellent Bang Bang restaurant. We ordered two cocktails and two beers. The beers were served immediate, and the cocktails about 5 mins later...as only one barman was able to make them so we had to wait until he picked up our order. Good drink and a very chilled atmosphere. High, open, bare ceilings give a real stripped back look to the place, and the outdoor area at the back is almost seamlessly entered from the bar due to the large bifold door exit being completely open. Only there for 30 mins, but enjoyable and friendly.
I love this place! A very clever add on to Main Street, this hip bar and awesome meeting spot is a great addition to Mordialloc.<br/ <br/ The only food I’ve had here were the chicken wings and they were impressive!<br/ <br/ A great place, fun environment and comfortable!

The cocktails at this Melbourne establishment are top-notch! The bar staff is also the best in the city. I truly appreciate the excellent service they provide.
