There are plenty of eating options at Lakeside shopping centre, Joondalup and the Side Walk Cafe has just become a favourite of mine.  I must have walked passed it a million times and dismissed in my mind when the kids are hungry and I head to the food court area. Side Walk Cafe is situated in the main entertaining area of Lakeside where the grocery shops Coles and Woolworth are.   They have a lovely little sectioned off area so you feel like you're in a street cafe watching the shoppers pass by.   What caught my daughters eye on this occasion was their Unicorn cupcakes.   I tried to persuade her to go elsewhere or try something else to eat but insisted!   S o we ordered the Unicorn cupcake...

What a difference one person can make...... I have always been a regular customer at Sidewalk Café however for the last months or so I have noticed a big difference in this small establishment. Every time I to go for a coffee there seems to be a new staff member there. I think there is probably only or long serving staff there now compared to several years ago which is not good when trying to build good relationships with customers. For a while I was curious to why this was and why Sidewalk Café suddenly couldn't keep staff but I think I am now starting to realise why...My theory is this may be down to the manager/owner. I have always been a regular customer in sidewalk caffe but for the last 6 months or so I have noticed a great difference in this small business every time when I go for a coffee, it seems to be a new employee there. in the shopping center lakeside there are many restaurants, joondalup and the side walk cafe have just become a favorite of me. I have to go through a million times and have dismissed my head when the children have starved and I go to the food court area. side walk cafe is located in the main entertainment area lakeside, where the food shops are coles and woolworth. they have a beautiful little demarcated against, so they feel like they are in a street café that passes the buyers. what my daughter got in this thing were her unicorn cupcakes.
