The bright and airy Signatures Restaurant at the Hotel InterContinental offers up some great options for breakfast. I went with simple poached eggs which were perfectly cooked and came with some fruit and a side of very good rosti potatoes. I also couldn't get enough of the freshly squeezed orange juice. The service was excellent too.
Although we had originally planned just a coffee, the menu was irresistible. I didn't want one of the large entrees and had a perfectly poached egg with toast and fixings, my guest had a beautiful onion soup. Perfectly prepared, perfectly served. Good atmosphere for conversation at brunch.
The interior of Signatures has been changed again. We preferred the last version but it is ok. Serving was quick, efficient and friendly. Menu is not extensive but it does offer some interesting choices. The food was quite good. Wine selections are very basic.
Often hotel dining is only "adequate," but this one was a welcome bit of calm in the midst of a busy city. Server was very competent, if a bit aloof, but this may reflect country of upbringing. Atmosphere calm and refined; children might be intimidated...More
This quiet oasis provides excellent cuisine and superb serviice in a superior ambiance. All at surprisingly good price. Its location across Bloor street from the ROM and the Royal Conservatory of Music is a bonus. Try the shrimp tacos for lunch.
With so many fantastic dining options in the area it is surprising that this restaurant makes no attempt to compete. The service is poor and their is no atmosphere due to bright lights and large spaces.
The restaurant accommodates business and casual diners in the Bloor Street area. The open space is nicely set up but does not provide for intimacy. Service is good and best when Thomas is on duty.
Delicious tempting breakfasts served at the table, sublime lunches and world class evening meals! The annual Christmas Day Lobster Brunch was also to die for!
We had a very nice lunch across the street from the Royal Ontario Museum. Quiet place with good food, but the service was a bit slow.
