I?ve been a loyal patron here since the start and it?s, by far, the favorite go-to place of mine in the Hartford area. The staff is great, the baked goods are unreal (including vegan/gluten free and are all baked on-site. Recently, the owners beganroasting and packaging their own beans.. I have to say, the coffee has been terrific! It?s smooth, and to me, less bitter thanthe beans they had been purchasing prior (which weren?t bad, but when you prefer more balance, the current coffee hits themark . I visited this restaurant recently to get some work done, and I've been here on several occasions to work and socialize with friends. The atmosphere is welcoming and there are plenty of seats available, including some outside and in the back. The drinks I've tried here have all been tasty, although I wasn't a fan of the lemonade and espresso iced drink they are currently offering this season - it just didn't work for me. I didn't have a meal here, but I did notice at least one vegan pastry option on the menu.
A+ coffee house. Always a pleasant experience here whether an order is placed online or in-person. They offer a wide variety of coffee combinations, have delectable food and baked-good gluten free offerings. In addition, Silk City roasts their own beans,so try to pick up a bag on the way out. You won?t be disappointed. They offer free wifi have outdoor/indoor seating. Lovelyambiance as well. This place is a treat that you will enjoy.
This charming neighborhood restaurant offers tasty biscuits that are a must-try. Although the prices are a bit high, the food is delicious. This coffeehouse in central CT is one of the best around. The staff is friendly and efficient. They serve excellent espresso drinks and other beverages, as well as homemade pastries that are reasonably priced. Unlike other coffeehouses, there is plenty of space to sit and socialize here.
This coffee shop is incredibly vegan-friendly. The food options in the display case are all clearly labeled for different dietary restrictions. In addition, their drinks are delicious and very reasonably priced compared to other places. The atmosphere inside the shop is also perfect.
I love finding coffee shops that cater to vegans. I tried a latte with oat milk (they also have coconut milk) and some peanut butter and jelly vegan donuts, which were absolutely delicious. I will definitely be coming back again.
