Silks - Tisch reservieren

The restaurant was not clean. The chairs we were expected to sit in had residue on them. There was food on the floor.  Drinks were very expensive for what you got.  I ordered an old-fashioned. There was a fourth of an orange crammed in the glass. It was not a usual sized highball glass, it was very small. We had to ask our absentee waitress to take our order. Our salad and our entrée arrived at the same time. We had to ask for bread. The food was delicious and a good value. The service was mediocre at best. Silks is a family fun environment offering excellent views to the horse races, no matter where you sit, you have clear sight of the finish line. Service is outstanding, the cooks are excellent, only draw back is the menu is very limited. We have eaten most of everything on the menu, and have yet to be disappointed. And most tables are less than 100 ft from a betting unit. Become regular customers and find yourself treated as royalty guests. And, for those wanting to make a bet, the ladies at the betting machines are willing to take time to explain, as well as regular customers if you ask. We left after sitting at our table for 15 minutes and not a peep from anyone. Not a water, not a drink order, not a sorry I’m running behind. And what a shame, my wife and I frequent Remington Park almost weekly during both seasons, but the service at Silks has gone down hill the past few seasons. When staff are available they are great, it’s the staffing levels that seems to screw up a decent place. We’ll try again, but we continue to try less and less each season.
