Ended up here twice on a recent Wednesday night. The first time in a search for a bar (6pm-ish) without a cover charge and then again (10pm-ish) on the hunt for a spot with any vegetarian food. It's certainly not a vegetarian haven but it does have a veggie burger which puts it ahead of most of the joints on Beale St. Both times the staff was pleasant and professional and we enjoyed all the local beers the bartenders recommended. The star of the show though were the pianoplayers who began perhaps around 7pm and were still there when we returned. To be honest, the crowd was giving them very little and they persisted like the professionals they were despite the milquetoast response. Next time...
Silky O’Sullivans Chill atmosphere, post Grizzlies Ws beers here a lot! Outdoor patio only place I’m ever going to be found at! Great hang out spot mid day or late night! one of the goats of DT Memphis! My dad use to tell me they drove 1hr: 30 min when he was in his early 20s just to come up here to Silks. Shows you you had to drive out the way to come to a bar this great! Chill atmosphere, post Grizzlies Ws beers here a lot! Outdoor patio only place I’m ever going to be found at! Great hang out spot mid day or late night!
The live band was jumping I drove from Louisville, Kentucky to celebrate my Cousins wedding. OMG this place was so much fun. I even sang karaoke with the piano players. They were awesome.
Loved their craft beer! The outside seating is nice when the weather is mild. Inside it's kinda dark and could use a bit up a update .

My husband and I were traveling through Memphis and went to Silky's on a Saturday afternoon for a couple of beers and some live music.
This place is awesome. We had a great time in the outdoor seating. Good music, great appetizers. Will comeback for another red ale.
I had been to Silky's once before and was awed by the front faux wall and the open air barBut I hadn't seen their goat pen before.
I was on Beale street last night no decided to step into Silky O'Sullivans given the history of this bar/restaurant.
