As visitors from out of town in town for a funeral, we decided to dine at Silver Dollar based on its positive reviews. We found the service to be quite slow, even during the busy lunch rush. Despite ordering the Monday lunch special of a cheeseburger and fries, it appeared that every other table received their meals before us, some even arriving after we did. We ended up waiting an hour for our food. However, the burgers and fries were excellent, tasting homemade and showcasing the chef's skills. We would definitely return to dine there again when in town, but hope for speedier service next time.
