Silver Mermaid Fish and Chips, what a disappointment we ordered our fish,hamburger in batter,potatoe cakes, crab sticks and chips. We asked if they would well drain the oil, unfortunately when we got home which was only 5 minutes away it was draining with oil and it tasted old oil which by the way you could smell as you walked in. Hamburger in batter you could not eat, the chips where soggy. That’s one take away shop we will not go near again, wasted our money as most was thrown out.
new in the opposite gogled best fish a chips in cranbourne. this was the closest to us, the service was fast and super polite, eating even better .hands down the best kartoffel cake I've ever eaten was almost like a panko, the same for the beautiful price of flocks I ordered. the children carved about when we came home with our order. locked as a place to go for our fish and chip fix, definitiw back!
Spent $65 on lunch for family pack and a basic burger. Over cooked, potato cakes were inedible, the whole lunch was terrible. The basic buger was stale and inedible also, and was one with the lot?? Fish/dims sims etc all cooked in old oil. Do not recommend at all. So disappointing for my elderly parents wanting to enjoy a lovely meal. Please contact me to offer a refund.

Good but could have been better. Chips n fried snacks were great, the let down was the size of the flake. I had a piece of fried and my better half had grilled . Mine was small and hers was tiny. Four stars if fish can improve.
Best there is in the Cranbourne area for Fish n' Chips! Worth going out of your way for...coming from a local of over 10 years that has tried most competitors in the area, Jenny serves up a great feed.
