During our recent stay at the Casino Rama Resort, we dined at the welcoming Simcoe Yard House once again. Our server, Jewel K., provided great service - she was fast, professional, and friendly. The restaurant is equipped with TVs so you can enjoy watching sports while waiting for your meal. The french fries are particularly tasty here, and the portion sizes are generous. Jewel even anticipated my need for a take-out container. We highly recommend dining at Simcoe Yard House and will certainly return on our next visit.
We recently had dinner and drinks at the Simcoe Yard House before catching the Prism/Honeymoon Suite concert. Our server provided fast and friendly service and in no time we had our drinks in front of us. We started off with nachos and I must say...they were the best I've ever had .... lots of cheese! For our mains we went with the prime rib and Teriyaki beef bowl, both of which were very good! For dessert, we shared the skillet baked mars bar cookie.
I have visited this restaurant a few times and I have found that the staff are friendly and the food is very good. However, there is a wait to be seated and the service can be slow. I noticed that the bartender was also serving tables in addition to working behind the bar, which made it difficult for them to keep up with drink orders. Despite this, I still went back three days in a row.
Eating was good with a varied menu and an attentive server. We took a break from the slots that are just a few steps from the dining area. Prices are medium to high, depending on what you had. The service was great, but this is, we stopped it! The food, everything I ordered were wings and they were so cold! It was terrible! I couldn't believe they were so cold! It seemed that they could have been for someone else and just not... mother to warm them up! I'd go back!
The entire Casino Rama facility boasts multiple restaurants and those that serve burgers are said to be “in house ground from AAA beef” which is a stretch as the burgers are overdone and dry. Yard house is probably your safest bet at not spending too...much on a sub par meal.
The atmosphere was great and the service was excellent, but the food was terrible. The grilled chicken tasted dry and resembled frozen chicken nuggets. I expected better from Casino Rama and their chefs. It was very disappointing and they can definitely do better.

Although they only had a short menu, we all found something to like. The waiting staff was friendly and did a good service.
