Last Friday, we partnered with HB for an event that was quite challenging. There were many moving parts and a very thirsty crowd. My company managed the bar, while Justin's team at HB took care of the additional staff and food service. They did an outstanding job. Throughout the night, our guests needed constant hydration, which required Justin's staff to consistently collect, sanitize, and restock our bar. We had a captivating champagne dress that needed frequent refills, and they provided a dedicated server to meet that demand.

This company catered my brothers wedding, and I am so deeply disappointed and embarrased by pretty much everything about it. Drink service was horrendous ! Water was not replenished in a timely manner, if at all. I had to interrupt the talking group of 3 servers (for a party of 120) to ask them to distribute water. Twice. It had been over 100 degrees that day and folks were left sitting with empty water glasses for over 30 minutes. Wine service was irregular and spotty. Portions were small ! My partner literally recieved 3 fingerling potatoes with his (vegetarian) meal. Bartender was visibly on his phone a number of times. And to top it all off The menu was incorrect ! Stuffed chicken breast...
I was at an amazing 200 person wedding in Malibu at the Historic Adamson House last weekend. The only thing better than the location was the awesome bartending and custom cocktails served by Marc Sosa! That brother was working so hard! While I make a point of noticing how hard people in service work, and tip them accordingly, I rarely write reviews (I think this may be my third one ever! . On the wedding day, they saved the top tier of our cake as is customary, but carelessly placed it in a box intended for trash, and it ended up getting smashed. When I spoke to Mike about these issues, he was completely indifferent. There was no apology for my new wife and me spending our first day of marriage throwing up, or for the many guests who experienced the same problem. Unfortunately, everyone remembers our wedding as the one where they got sick, which isn’t exactly how you want people to remember your special day.

We got married on NYE and Huntington catering absolutely killed it. Our guests raved about the food and were so happy with the selections. They kept everything within budget too which was important to us. Our interactions with Justin and Vanessa were perfect. They're prompt to reply to any questions you may have. They also have more than just the food which is super convenient if your venue only rents the space and everything else is separate. When we were running low on alcohol one of the waiters ran out to get more. The staff made everything stress free for us! I'd highly recommend them to anyone. You will not regret choosing them!
Huntington Catering is THE BEST! I've been using them for years (family functions, memorials, parties, etc, most recently my wedding. I had a whopping 250+ guests and they handled everything from start to finish. I had them cater the tray passed apps, 3 bars, buffet for dinner, dessert station and then fresh pizza to offer to guests on their way out. The staff are exceptionally professional, but never stuffy, they're extremely hospitable and friendly. Huntington's pricing is not only competitive, but when you hire them, you see that they're cheap for how amazing the full package turns out. Highly recommend and book them NOW!
Justin did email me and continued to work with me to come to an agreement on a refund amount. He mailed me a refund check. I appreciated that he didn't ignore me and seemed genuine in his apologies for the mishaps that occurred. Communication was slower than I wanted, but I'm glad we got this resolved and I can put it behind me. Justin did seem to take this experience to heart and expressed he wanted to work with his team to make improvements. Even though what happened at my event was unfortunate, I do respect that Justin worked with me personally to try and make things right and his communication with me felt sincere.
Huntington Catering was a delight to work with for our wedding in Los Angeles this past October. They served as our bartenders and servers, ensuring that all of our guests were well taken care of. Vanessa and Justin were incredibly helpful and accommodating as we navigated all the changes leading up to our big day. I highly recommend them for your next event!

This place is horrible! I have called at at least 5 times left messages spoke with some w named Justin said he would call back.....still waiting. Have heard the do not treat employees well, why would they treat a potential customer well?? No thank you!!! Moved on to The Kitchen in Pasadena. Pls don 't waste your time with these losers at Huntington Catering.
