We ate here for my birthday. My husband had made a special trip without my knowing to explain this to the staff and gave them some candles to put on my dessert. When we arrived, he pointed out the note on the booking to the greeter who was the same person that had taken delivery of the candles. Drinks were rather slow in arriving and I ordered a glass of French champagne that I was excited to try. The wood fired Pizza is very good and the waiters are friendly. The restaurant does lack atmosphere. Unlike other restaurants located in hotels around the world this one felt very much like a 'canteen' with the buffet bar at the end of the restaurant and too bright lights. Playing U2 music the whole evening just isn't very 'Italian'. Management of the restaurant requires improvement.Even though the Pizza was very nice, I wouldn't return.
This hotel is in the lobby of the Hilton and did the trick after a full day excursion to the Dianetree. We ordered 5 Pizza's and some Pasta for dinner. The Pizza's were really good. It was a little pricey being in a hotel. Also, not much of a view. Service was a little slow to start for ended well.
This is inside the Hilton but has no charm at all, just like a large cafeteria. And the food and service reflected that, they showed no interest in taking care of us and clearly the chefs have no ambition to do well in that enviroment. Prices were fine tho for what we got.

Visited for dinner with a family group. Menu is pretty basic pasta and pizza. Those who had pizza were happy. My veal was a little oily and over-priced. The prices are too high for average quality. The wines were generally low end quality but top end prices.
Very poor quality food. There were 3 of us dining and all have very poor meals. The service was very abrupt and borderline rude Will not be returning
Nice food and pleasant service, but there is much better close by, try a walk along the boardwalk, and start to count the number of restaurants.
First meal in Cairns resulted to be a very tasty pizza at the restaurant of the hotel. So good that we went back the next day and had more.

Great staff , great food ,been here plenty times always way too full afterwards , Nice variety of food and wines Never a disappointment:)
Was nice enough.. Staff were friendly and competent.. My wife was more impressed with her meal than I was with mine but it was all good.
