However, I found the lunch to be a bit on the pricey side at nearly $20. I was fortunate that my company was covering the meal, as I wouldn’t be able to justify spending that much on lunch regularly. The locals, on the other hand, didn’t seem to have any complaints, as the place was bustling when I arrived. I will likely return to try a menu item because I really enjoyed both the food and the atmosphere.
The food took me back to the dishes my grandmother used to prepare—may her soul rest in peace. The staff welcomed me with heartfelt warmth and were enthusiastic about offering great recommendations. The lovely woman playing the piano at the entrance felt like a modern-day descendant of Beethoven. I could have easily spent the whole day savoring the delicious food and basking in the delightful atmosphere.

Absolutely incredible food. Best home cooking lunch spot in town!!! If you want classic southern cooking, this is the place. All of the workers are so friendly. Locally owned, home grown hospitality!
The macaroni and cheese was excellent, showcasing delicious homemade Southern cooking. The service was outstanding as well. We had a delightful lunch and will definitely return in the future.
The homemade food and desserts were absolutely delicious! I also thoroughly enjoyed the pianist during my visit. If you appreciate country-style cooking, this place is a must-visit.
