The service by the only waiter that was there this past Sunday was poor. Despite the place being virtually empty, he was slow to come to my table to take an order, and had to be asked twice for tap water. The red lentil soup $9) was in the form of a lentil broth, it had little flavor. It had no noticeable thickness. The lamb shank $29) was moist and tasty, it came with eggplant puree, which was also good.
The old Sip Sak was a far better restaurant. I thought the food was just ok. There are far better Turkish restaurants in the area. Some like Ali Babba have closed but their food was better than what we had at Sip Sak. If you are looking for Turkish food look further than this restaurant.
So happy to return to SipSak after its covid closure. The food was as good as its ever been. I can never get enough of the warm bread olive oil. Lamb shank was fall off the bone tender. Can’t wait to eat there again.

Good food overall. Grill Octopus is too mushy for me and too oily. Everything else great, such as eggplant salad, artichokes, sausage, and Adana kebab is a outstanding. Excellent service.
our server ozge was great. eating is very well prepared and has great taste as a knower of Turkish cuisine. the wine list is limited, but good with excellent value. we're coming back.
Sip Sak is an easy place to go for good food. I like the music, which provides an added component to the setting. The waitstaff is polite and friendly.
