As a white kid with a long-standing appreciation for Armenian cuisine, I can say that this place is fantastic. I recently enjoyed a spinach borek and za'atar manakish, and both were excellent. The pastries were exceptionally good—far superior to what I usually find in similar places. The spinach borek, in particular, was flavorful and well-balanced. The service was also top-notch! The single staff member on duty was incredibly friendly, taking my order while juggling food preparations for other customers, and it was clear they knew many of the patrons. Overall, the atmosphere was great, and the food was delicious. I highly recommend it!
ARMENIA via Eat the World Los Angeles The Armenian pizza here is not so different from that enjoyed in Iran, which also falls the Marinara or any other sauce for more cheese. Sorry, Perser! They do not insist on using Ranch Dressing and Ketchup on their cakes, Sipan instead goes a healthy amount of their homemade spicy Chipotle sauce. This creamy, nutty sauce is the ultimate LA fusion and surprisingly addictive. It definitely lived up to his praise and was used to make the last drop on the big chicken-shawarma pizza $15.55 .
I typically don't visit Glendale, but when I do, I always make a point to stop by Sipan Bakery for some delicious food. They serve breakfast, lunch, dinner, and everything in between. The staff is fantastic and goes above and beyond to accommodate your needs. I even saw the lovely owner in the kitchen, getting hands-on with the cooking. Support this place; you won't regret it!
Had lunch here today 9/30, the small shawerma -Shawarma chicken 7-in pizza was delicious!! ordered online promised in 12min ...right on! with a little tangy sauce on the side -it's a little spicy...light flaky crust yum! Great lunch! Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Biggups to my guys at Sipan Bakery! Everything here is good. If you have not tried Armenian style pizza, break your teeth on this place diving and get some good food owners are super cool, so not shy to ask questions, it's all good!
Glad we found this place. Came in hungry after a trip to the zoo and got delicious food. They even accommodated a picky kid with a custom pizza. Definitely coming back when we're in the area.
The food is incredible, with a perfectly thin crust and expertly marinated ingredients. The service is excellent as well! We highly recommend this place!
