Booked a table here for a couple of evenings while we were staying at a nearby campsite. On both occasions the food was excellent and substantial, staff were super friendly and the atmosphere cosy and inviting. We had the ham egg and chips, steak and ale pie, fillet steak, lamb shank, banofee pie and Baileys cheesecake. Everything was delicious. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner
We had an amazing dining experience at this restaurant. They were very accommodating to my wife's dietary restrictions of dairy and gluten free food on both of our visits. They even allowed her to bring her own dessert. The service was excellent and they had Doombar on tap. I highly recommend this genuine family-run pub for a delicious meal. Service: Dine-in. I had an absolutely fantastic dining experience at this restaurant. They were able to accommodate my wife's dietary restrictions (milk and gluten-free) at both locations we visited. They even allowed us to bring our own dessert. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was cozy. I highly recommend this restaurant, it is a true family-run establishment. Lovely friendly pub restaurant. Highly recommend booking if wanting to eat here. We had a lovely meal on Sunday. Freshly cooked food. No ding meals here....The steak ale mushroom pie was tasty. Even if it only had a puff pastry top. The cheese board had a nice selection of cheeses. highly recommend this place.
This restaurant is the perfect spot to enjoy some delicious food. I ordered the grilled fish with fries and it was absolutely delightful, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The staff were friendly and attentive. I definitely plan on coming back here again.
