I am an Uber Eats delivery driver, and the following frustrating experience truly happened to me. Last night (October 4th) around 9:58 PM, I received two orders from the restaurant: Sizzling Slice Turramurra. Initially, the pickup process went smoothly. The female staff at the restaurant kept reminding me that there were two orders and asked me not to deliver them to the wrong address. I kindly responded and assured her that I wouldn’t. However, when I arrived at the first delivery address, the nightmare began. The customer for the first order told me that the name on the Uber Eats app (Arpana) was not their name. Could not even order from them. Their online ordering system would not accept my address (Wahroonga). So I called the store. The staff member who answered the phone was talking to other people within the restaurant and made me repeat my order several times yet still did not understand what I was saying. If their online platform does not recognise your address, absolutely do not bother with Sizzling Slice Turramurra. I’m only giving two stars because I understand that they were busy on a Friday night and the person answering the phone probably had several other responsibilities which stopped them from being able to listen to the phone call.
After previously having a bad experience of Sizzling Slice forgetting to make and deliver our whole order, we stopped using Sizzling Slice for about 18 months. I went there on a Saturday night and the place was dead. No one dining in and there was no staff cooking pizzas. Sizzling Slice used to be the most popular pizza store in Kuringai. This time they got the order right but the churros were burnt and inedible. Cannot recommend this place at all
The tiny girl working behind the counter at 9:00 pm on Wednesday, didn’t let me sit inside the restaurant to have my food. She was being super racist and food she gave to me was rubbish. If you keep such a staff mate you will almost loose your business i bet. You 100% need an overhaul and training of your staff. The should have etiquette to talk to customers. The pizza is average at best and overpriced I’ve ordered wings from this place twice 1st time didn’t add any sauce and only gave me half my wings 2nd time delivered the right amount of wings but with a completely wrong sauce. Terrible service and running numerous ghost kitchens from one location. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
Tried ordering Marg Pizza 11.38 PM 16/10. Lady more interested in catching her train to Hornsby than serving customers (Operating hours 11 am 12 am) however lady wanted to close early at 11.50 pm just so she could catch a train. Lost a customer. Disappointed. Complaint also left on website Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
