We have eaten here a few times and I really want to love this restaurant but the shambolic service sadly lets it down. On one occasion the waiter hadn't set up my niece's high chair properly so she slid down to the floor. On another occasion my steak arrived (perfectly cooked) well before the sides and we were only provided with one set of sauces to be shared by the three of us having steak. I tried to get someone's attention for a long time but was completely ignored, including by someone who said he was coming back and then walked straight past on his return. In December I went skiing for the weekend with a friend and his 6 year old son in Saas Fe. On Saturday we lunched at Ski Huette. Due to him having a young son we were first ones into the restaurant and ordered fast so that we could get him fed. Service and food were both good. We returned the next day. Unfortunately our experience was the total opposite. We arrived just after midday and quickly ordered fondue and chicken nuggets for his son. About 15 minutes later we were told there was no fondue which was a complete surprise since this was the start of service on a Sunday in a Swiss ski resort! We reserved a table for 8 at Skihütte at the season end party. We waited half an hour before even someone showed up to get the order for drinks or showed us a menu. as it was the last day open, there were only four things served. Hamburger, spare ribs, bratwurst with rösti or fries. as a vegetarian not a really good choice. the time we wanted to order (this was already the second time we went to ask if we could order) there were not even burger served anymore. the food came pretty quick but wrong. one rösti was missing, one portion of fries too much, sausage was also not on the plate. we also asked two times to pay at the end. we had to go again to the counter and ask again. the food was ok...
Nachdem wir schon mehrmals in Saas-Fee waren, war es eine Überraschung festzustellen, dass wir noch nie im Skihut gegessen hatten, obwohl er durch seine prominente Lage zwischen Stadt und Piste auffällt. Dieser Fehler wurde korrigiert. Fröhliche Atmosphäre trotz ein wenig rebellischem Verhalten in der benachbarten Bar, freundlicher Service, die übliche Schweizer Bergspeisekarte und anständiges Essen und Trinken. Normale Saas-Fee Preise!

Wir haben dieses Restaurant nach dem Rodeln bei Hannig besucht. Sie hatten Platz und setzten uns (4 Erwachsene, 3 kleine Kinder) sofort. Es dauerte eine halbe Stunde, bis die Getränke kamen, das Essen weitere 15-20 Minuten. Nettes Personal, wirkte allerdings erschöpft und einfach sehr langsam (nicht zu viel los um 14 Uhr). Das Essen (Burger, Rösti, Shaorma) war in Ordnung, aber nichts war das Warten wirklich wert.
Es war eine schöne Nacht in Saas-Fee. Die Atmosphäre des Restaurants war wunderschön und der Service war ausgezeichnet! Wir haben typische Gerichte wie Rösti gegessen und es war großartig!
Wir sind zum Mittagessen gegangen, Suppe und Burger. Es dauerte eine Stunde, bis das Essen ankam. Das Essen war gut, als es kam, aber das Warten war lächerlich.
Finding value for money in Saas Fee restaurants can be difficult. We all enjoyed our meal of burgers and I wasn't knocked over by the bill for a change.
