We park at the parking lot at the edge of the forest and reach the ski hut in Oberkochen after a comfortable 20-minute walk. The hut and the nature around it are a great destination for families and hikers and here the journey is the destination. On Sunday you can get home-baked cakes and a delicious snack from nice volunteers. But even if the hut is closed you can have a picnic here or build a snowman. If the weather permits in winter, you can go tobogganing, skiing or cross-country skiing here. There is a lift with two departures. Tip: The way back by sleigh is great fun! Or walk the Otto-Bihlmaier-Steig.
